Viglacera organized a briefing session at the beginning of the year 2017 and signed a commitment to implement the production and business plan

In 3rd January 2017 -the first working day of the new year, at the headquarters of Viglacera Corporation-JSC( 1st Thang Long Avenue, Hanoi), Viglacera Corporation-JSC held a new year meeting and reviewed and signed a commitment to implement the production and business plan for the year 2017. Accordingly, the main targets have higher growth than the results of 2016. Therefore, there will be a drastic change in both quality and quantity in 2017.Viglacera will comply with the commitment of General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) that increases the dividend and ensures the interest of shareholders.

In 2016, although market situation of building materials and real estate had many fluctuations, with the drastic direction of the leaders of Viglacera together with the efforts of officers and employees, Viglacera completed and exceeded the business and production targets in which the main targets had higher growth compared to implementation of 2015.

Mr Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director, reports the evaluation of the results of 2016 business and production plan 2016 and deploys tasks for the 2017 business and production plan.

The consolidated pre-tax profits of the Viglacera Corporation-JSC rises 38% compared to 2015. The parent company pre-tax profit is 43% higher than year plan committed to GSM. Viglacera expects that the dividend is above 7% which was committed to GSM.

Consolidated revenue of Viglacera Corporation-JSC increases 12% compared to the year 2015. Revenue of Parent Company rises 4,2% compared to the year 2015.

Expressing views at the meetings

Promoting the strengths and achievements in 2016, from the first official working day of 2017, the Corporation held a briefing session to review and assign the plan which has higher growth in all indicators compared to 2016, the leaders of the Committees highly agreed and signed the commitment to successfully implement the 2017 objectives.

At that time, General director-Mr Nguyen Anh Tuan required to continue focusing on restructuring the Corporation and financial transparency in order to attract additional sources of capital for the strong development of the Corporation in 2017; Viglacera also need to continue to focus on measures to improve labor productivity, promoting initiatives, technical improvement options, applying new and green technologies, developing new models and especially the quality of products to increase the value and create competitiveness for Viglacera products on the domestic market .Besides, it should promote to find more new export markets and continue to build an export strategy in the period 2017 - 2020 to reduce the pressure on the domestic market and strengthen the brand of Viglacera in the international market.

In the coming period, in order to keep up the pace of development of the Corporation, Viglacera will need to pay attention to the development of human resources in parallel with the timely deployment of key projects such as venture investment projects in Cuba, high class Glass and sanitary ware projects and some industrial projects which currently have a lot of advantages such as Dong Van 4 - Ha Nam, Yen Phong Expansion - Bac Ninh and Tien Hai – Thai Binh.

The leaders of the Glass, Tiles-Sanitary ware, Terracotta and Real Estate Commitees signed the commitment to implement production and business plan of the year 2017 with General Director,Mr Nguyen Anh Tuan.

Determination and responsibility of the leaders of the company to shareholders since the first days of the new year, with the consensus of the leaderss of the Commitees, and member units are the basis to affirm the successful implementation of the business and production plan of the Corporation in 2017 as well as development strategies to become multinational enterprises of Viglacera.
