Viglacera launched the Spring 2018 Tree planting – Opening ceremony of wastewater treatment station and Ground-breaking ceremony of social housing in Phu Ha Industrial Park (IP) – Phu Tho

In the new spring air, on the first working day of the country February 21^st 2018, Viglacera Corporation - JSC has ceremonially held the tree-planting launching ceremony Spring 2018, Opening ceremony of wastewater treatment station - phase 1 and Ground-breaking ceremony of social housing in Phu Ha Industrial Park (IP) – Phu Tho. With this event, Viglacera has showed its social responsibility and determination to implement the Government policies on the development of workers' houses and raise the prestige of the brand. Viglacera is a pioneer in the investment of social housing, housing for workers as well as serving the infrastructure of industrial zones.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Quang Hung - Deputy Minister of Construction, Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh - Deputy Minister of Construction, along with the President of Trade Union of Construction, Departments, Institutes under Ministry of Construction, Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam - President of Vietnam Real Estate Association, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Member of Provincial Party Committee – Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee and other Departments and Localities of Phu Tho Province. As for Viglacera Corporation, Mr. Luyen Cong Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - General Director together with members of BOD, former top executives of the Corporation, Heads/ Deputy Heads of departments and Directors of member units/ subsidiaries.

Phu Tho is the origin of Vietnam, where the Hung Kings built Van Lang - the first Vietnamese state. So far Phu Tho has advantages for economic development: the central location of the North, has a convenient network of roads, railways, especially the waterway at the confluence of the river/ the western gateway to Hanoi. The labor force here is skillfully plenty with low cost. In addition, the source of fill level is available from hill land in place.

 
Perspective of Phu Ha IP 

Phu Ha IP phase I with the scale of 350 ha, commenced construction on February 26^th 2015, after nearly 3 years of investment, construction and operation management, 119.5 ha of land have been built in a modern and synchronous manner, including ground leveling, power supply, water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 2.500m3/ day and internal traffic. 34 ha has been leased to secondary investors, with 13 enterprises mainly engaged in electricity and electronics businesses with advanced and modern technology, attracted nearly USD $90 million of FDI capital and created jobs for nearly 10,000 laborers in the area and neighboring provinces.

It can be said that Viglacera has fulfilled its commitments with Phu Tho Province on industrial development and environmental protection. The investment in building Phu Ha IP has achieved three criterion: attracting Green, Non-Smoky Plants; Not using rice land to affect food security; Non-sand Backfilling materials that affect flow and ecological environment.

With the central and local transportation system, with abundant labor force and low construction cost, favorable rent for investment promotion, Phu Ha IP is attracted by many customers. In order to improve the quality of life for workers, create the attachment of workers with enterprises, promote production and business, and attracted investment in industrial zones, Viglacera Corporation organized the Ground-breaking ceremony of the Social housing Project (Phase 1) for Phu Ha IP workers in Ha Loc Commune, Phu Tho Town.

Perspective of social housing for workers in Phu Ha IP

The development of Social housing especially housing for workers has been put into the Government's housing development strategy until 2020 and vision to 2030 and is a right policy of the Communist Party and the State to facilitate the low income workers are allowed to own houses. Although this policy has also received the consent of a large number of people and social organizations, many localities and enterprises have not responded. The implementation is slow and not actively leading to the lack of social housing and housing for workers. In order to realize the directives of the Prime Minister in Directive 03/CT-TTg issued on January 26^th 2017, Viglacera immediately broke ground the housing project for workers in Yen Phong IP in February 2017, in Dong Van 4 IP in May 2017 and today in Phu Ha IP, Phu Tho. This is clearly the determination of Viglacera to confirm its pioneering role in the field of social housing construction as well as strictly follow the direction of the Government and the Ministry of Construction during periods.

The social housing project for workers of Phu Ha IP has the area of 4.3 ha (without using rice land), invest 630 apartments with the area from 26m2 to 70m2. The total area of 69,000 m2 is built synchronously in terms of technical infrastructure, beautiful architecture, friendly environment, and meet the housing demand for about 2,500 workers when completed.

On the side of the Phu Tho People's Committee, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman also directed the Departments and the People's Committee of Phu Tho province to create conditions and guidance to support investors in the process of dealing with the relevant procedures.

After issuing the order of ground-breaking social housing for workers in Phu Ha IP, Deputy Minister of Construction – Mr. Le Quang Hung believes that with the support of all aspects of Phu Tho province and the capacity and experience of real estate/ industrial park investment, Viglacera will complete the project as planned, ensure quality and meet the needs of workers.

After this ground-breaking ceremony, Viglacera Corporation has determined that it will concentrate all its resources to build up the project to ensure timely progress, to put the project into operation soon in order to attract investment and increase the competitiveness of the region, to meet the housing demands of workers in this area, accelerate the process of urbanization and build a modern and civilized Phu Tho.

 
Opening ceremony of wastewater treatment plant, phase I 

Along with taking care of workers' lives, with the goal of sustainable development, Viglacera always attaches great importance to environmental protection by launching the opening ceremony of the wastewater treatment plant phase 1 with capacity of 1,250 m3/day at Phu Ha IP, Phu Tho. The project is located in the land plot KT-02 in Phu Ha IP with a total investment of 16 billion VND with mechanical and chemical technology combined with biological treatment to allow water after treatment to meet QCVN standards: 14-2008/BTNMT (column A, Kq = 1, Kf = 0.9) before discharging into the receiving source. The contractor is a very prestigious unit in the field of environmental technology. After completing and commisioning, the wastewater meets the criteria of column A meeting QCVN: 14-2008/BTNMT standards.

Together with the common joy of the whole country in the Spring 2018, the Deputy Minister of Construction together with leaders of Phu Tho Province, top executives of Viglacera Corporation launch the Tree-planting ceremony Spring 2018, responding to Uncle Ho's teaching “For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees”.
