The program was attended by Vice General Directors in charge of relevant fields, the Chief Accountant of the Corporation, representatives of specialized departments, as well as leaders, the Board of Supervisors and relevant departments of each unit.

Staying Close to Reality, Understanding Operations from the Grassroots Level

At the working sessions, the General Director directly inspected the current status of assets, surveyed factory premises and visited production lines in Viglacera’s key fields, including construction glass, tiles, sanitary ware and sanitary equipment.

Leaders of the units reported on production and business operations; production line operating capacity; product quality; market development activities and investment plans for the coming period. Difficulties and obstacles encountered during production organization were also frankly discussed for the Corporation and its units to jointly consider and seek solutions.

At Viglacera Tien Son JSC, the General Director visited the tile production lines at Viglacera My Duc Factory and Viglacera Eurotile Factory, as well as the Vasta Stone sintered stone warehouse and CNC processing workshop. At the glass enterprises, the General Director focused on reviewing operating capacity, product quality and the efficiency of production line utilization. For the sanitary ware and sanitary equipment group, the working agenda focused on improving productivity, controlling quality, optimizing costs and developing product lines with high added value.

Technological Innovation Associated with Investment Efficiency

Through the working sessions, General Director Tran Ngoc Anh requested the units to continue conducting a comprehensive review of production operations, improve management efficiency and proactively adapt to market fluctuations. The factories need to focus on investing in advanced technologies, accelerating automation at each stage, saving raw materials and energy, and reducing production costs.

The General Director emphasized that technology investment should not only aim to increase capacity but must bring about substantive improvements in productivity, quality, cost and product competitiveness. Each investment project needs to be carefully studied, closely aligned with market demand, consumption capacity and the Corporation’s overall development orientation, thereby ensuring the long-term efficiency of resource utilization.

Alongside maintaining the stability of existing product lines, the units need to proactively research new products, enhance technological content and added value, while leveraging the advantages of linkages within the Viglacera building materials ecosystem. Product development must be carried out in coordination with market research, distribution system development and service quality improvement.

At the working session with Viglacera Tien Son JSC, the General Director listened to the unit’s presentation on the investment plan for the AAC project, which is being urgently implemented to anticipate market demand, and provided specific directions for its implementation.

The program of visits and working sessions at production units in the two regions demonstrates the close-to-reality and decisive approach of General Director Tran Ngoc Anh from the very first days of assuming his duties. Directly inspecting actual operations, listening to opinions from the grassroots level and providing specific orientations will create momentum for the units to continue innovating and improving operational efficiency, contributing to strengthening competitiveness and promoting Viglacera’s sustainable development in the new period./.
