Conveying the Message of Green, Sustainable Building Materials at the National Achievements Exhibition
Viglacera and other building material enterprises introduced many impressive products in the exhibition space of the Construction Industry’s 80-year achievements “Shaping – Connecting – Rising” at the National Achievements Exhibition.

Mr. Lê Văn Kế, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Building Materials (Ministry of Construction) commented: “The exhibition of the Ministry of Construction has sketched a comprehensive picture of the 80-year journey of Vietnam’s building materials industry, from the early days of heavy dependence on imports, to now mastering production and exporting many key products...”

Today, enterprises are striving and persistently dedicating themselves to the development of new materials, green materials, energy-saving, environmentally friendly and sustainable development, gradually conquering international markets and laying the foundation for a modern, sustainable, and self-reliant industry. “The highlight of the exhibition is the models and new products following the green production and energy-saving trend, clearly showing the sustainable development commitments of State-owned, private, and foreign-invested enterprises,” said Mr. Lê Văn Kế.
At the exhibition, Vietnam Cement Corporation (Vicem) introduced a technological diagram model of a typical cement plant. These are plants that integrate circular economy solutions, save resources, protect the environment, and produce green cement and low-carbon cement products. Vicostone, Xuân Mai Concrete, Minh Long Wood… brought products with the motto of promoting faster and cleaner production.

And standing out most is Viglacera – worthy of the title of Vietnam’s leading building materials manufacturer – as it brought to the Exhibition modern materials with a high proportion of “green” elements. Viglacera’s message is: “Green in production – Green for the environment – Green for users.” Behind that are energy-saving and operating cost-saving indicators that truly prove effective after investment.

The products Viglacera brought to the Industry Achievements Exhibition include energy-saving glass, ultra-clear glass, Vasta Stone sintered stone, Eurotile premium tiles, and PVD-coated faucets… These are products in the Corporation’s Green Building Materials Ecosystem, persistently established and continuously perfected over the years. Not stopping there, it also includes autoclaved aerated concrete – a non-fired building material – certified as a “Standard Product for Green Buildings” by the Singapore Green Building Council, and granted seismic vibration reduction certification by a testing organization in Taiwan.
With the pioneering spirit of green technology, Viglacera also introduced several publications for the architecture and interior design industry, opening doors without limits for creative freedom.

From the “80-Year Journey Picture” to modern, high-tech production models, the Exhibition demonstrates that Vietnam’s building materials industry is undergoing a strong transformation towards green, circular, and sustainable development. Within this transformation, the presence of Viglacera with its Green Building Materials Ecosystem stands out as a positive and energetic testament. Above all, the spectacular showcase of the building materials business community – from State-owned enterprises, private enterprises to FDI enterprises – has been and is contributing to making building materials an important sector that provides momentum for achieving the commitment of net-zero emissions by 2050.
