Groundbreaking Ceremony of Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project in Van Phong Economic Zone - Khanh Hoa Province

On April 2, 2025, at Van Phong Economic Zone (Khanh Hoa), Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company will hold the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project. The Ceremony is held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Khanh Hoa province (April 2, 1975 - April 2, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). 

Since the beginning of the year, following two major projects: CT3 - Thang Long Green City Social Housing Area and Song Cong II Industrial Park - Phase 2, another milestone will be conquered by Viglacera.

Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project is the first pioneering industrial park in Khanh Hoa province to be implemented after the planning of Khanh Hoa province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and the Adjustment of the General Planning for the Construction of Van Phong Economic Zone, Khanh Hoa province to 2040, with a vision to 2050 were approved. When the project comes into operation, it will contribute to accelerating the process of economic restructuring of the province towards industrialization and modernization; contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality in general and Van Phong Economic Zone in particular.

Therefore, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have directed the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board, the Van Ninh District People's Committee, the Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee and relevant agencies to make efforts to accompany the investor in developing a detailed project implementation schedule; have issued an investment registration certificate; have organized the preparation, submission for appraisal and approval of the 1/2,000 zoning plan; have prepared an environmental impact assessment report, a feasibility study report, and supported site clearance. It is expected that by the second quarter of 2025, the investor will complete the construction licensing procedures to start construction for the 1,100 ha area; the remaining areas will be implemented according to the schedule in the approved investment registration certificate.

Regarding strategic location: Doc Da Trang Industrial Park is located in Van Phong Economic Zone, near international shipping routes passing through the Asia - Pacific region. Drainage: Rainwater and wastewater drainage systems are built separately

Wastewater treatment: 2 wastewater treatment plants with a capacity of 11,000 m3/day and night and a capacity of 8,000 m3/day and night, treated according to the latest QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT. Solid waste from the plants will be classified, collected and treated according to the regulations of Khanh Hoa province.
