In the morning of January 18, 2020, Viglacera Corporation - JSC held a conference to evaluate the results of production and business activities and investment in 2020, deploying the target of business and investment plans in 2021. Reporting at the Conference on the results of production and business activities in 2020 and the implementation of the business plan for the year 2021, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director of Corporation said: In 2020, the building materials market faces many difficulties due to the complexity developments of global epidemics and natural disasters, storms and floods in the Central region, causing in the results of groups of sanitary wares, baked clay bricks and tiles failing to reach the target plan. 

However, with the right directions, specific objectives throughout the implementation, the drastic and close leadership of the Corporation's leaders, the solidarity, attachment and determination of the corporation's Board of Directors, staff and employees of the whole Corporation, the Corporation's business and production activities achieved positive results, especially the Parent Company continued to perform well the leading role, leading in maintaining and completing Profits target exceeding the plan committed to the General Meeting of Shareholders. 

Specifically, the parent company pre-tax profit reached 735 billion VND, reaching 122% of the plan; Corporation - JSC (merged) reached 860 billion VND, reaching 115% of the plan.

In 2021, Viglacera Corporation - JSC will continue to vigorously implement the restructuring of governance from the Parent Company to its subsidiaries to proactively overcome challenges and improve efficiency business and production activities.

In the materials sector, Corporation will focus on investment in developing new products, high-value and high-quality products, feasible in terms of domestic and export competitiveness. For the real estate sector, it will focus on investing and developing and expanding the land fund of industrial parks, social housing segments, and housing for workers according to the Government's policy to promote all advantages and potentials availability of the Corporation, etc.

In the coming time, the Deputy Minister suggested Viglacera continue to effectively implement the plan set out in 2021; organizing and restructuring the number of businesses is still in difficulty; continue implementing Corporation's investment projects according to progress in the field of materials and infrastructure investment in industrial parks; continue to pay attention to housing investment activities, especially social housing, contribute more house fund for workers, low-income people, etc.
