Viglacera ‘s products in Vietnam – Singapore Dialogue on Green Architecture 2019
Dialogue on Green Architecture is the topic of seminar held by Vietnam Architecture Magazine under the sponsor of Vietnam Architect Association which occurred in the morning of 26th April in Hanoi. In the seminar, Viglacera introduced to Vietnamese and foreign architects green building material products which contribute to green urban areas in Vietnam in the context of natural resource becoming scarce and global climate change happening.
In top 10 cities which develop sustainably and greenly the most in the world, Singapore – the country famous for their urban greening solutions – ranks first. With the participation of about 300 reputable architects from Vietnam and Singapore, the seminar was expected to be an environment where they could share their professional knowledge and experiences among managers, experts, architects, investors in green architecture field.
In the seminar, representative of Viglacera Corporation – JSC had a talk about the trend of using energy saving glass in construction. The Viglacera energy saving glass product has 2 product lines: Low E glass and Solar control glass, each of which is suitable with certain type of climate and natural environment on earth. This product is a high-technology one made from super thin metal layer system which helps to maximize the insulation or solar absorption ability, leading to decrease up to 50% electricity cost for cooling or heating system, through that improve the living quality and protect customers ‘s health.
For subtropical countries like Vietnam or Singapore, Viglacera already researched and successfully produced the Low E glass product which helps to maximize the insulation and Solar heat & UV rays prevention ability and keep the inside space always cool. In the winter, Low E glass will help to prevent heat inside the building coming out, which makes the temperature inside the building warmer.
Especially along with the modernized green architecture trend, the demand for green building material products is receiving a huge interest from investors and architects from all over the world. Joining the Dialogue on Green Architecture this year, Viglacera bring out the green and sustainable solutions contained in indispensable building materials of the modern construction field. One of the solutions which gain special interest from architects is the trend of using un-baked materials in constructions. Some of speakers asked questions about Viglacera AAC block a ALC panel and their preeminent characteristics and high applicability in real life such as: low density, big size, easy to use, speed up the construction time, save money for clients and so on...
Besides, the ALC sheathing board has density of 650 – 750 kg/m3, which equals to ½ of solid brick ‘s density and 1/3 of common cement ‘s. Using ALC panel helps to decrease the weight and minimize the vibration for all constructions, especially for tall buildings. Based on the structure analysis, using ALC sheathing board which contains metal core instead of solid brick, common cement, the weight could decrease up to 30-40%. Therefore, the cost for foundation, girder and floor could be saved. Because the ALC panel is lighter, has bigger size, the construction speed will be higher, the labor cost will decrease and construction time will be speed up.
Also in this seminar, investors, architects and other guests are also impressed by the continuous development and innovation in designing green architectures all over the world and in Asia countries such as Vietnam, Singapore. Especially, with the participation of famous speakers such as Architect Chan EE Mun – Director of WOHA Architectural Office (Singapore), Architect Tran Vu Lam – President of Cubic Architect, Architect Doan Thanh Ha – Founder of H&P Architects and Archtect Le Cao Anh – Director of Lap Concept, the Vietnam – Singapore Dialogue on Green Architecture 2019 showed the deep awareness about the value of green architecture, which promotes the continuous searching and implementing new ideas to create an unique combination between reality and art in designing architectures.
