In the morning of January 11th 2019, Viglacera – JSC held the 2018 Operation & Investment Activities Review Session, and implementing the Operation & Investment activities plan for 2019. In 2018, Viglacera finished all set targets and continued to hold their position as the Market leader in the Construction field.

This is the 4th consecutive time Viglacera has been named with the title "National Brand - Vietnam Value 2018". This achievement continues to affirm the Corporation's position - the leading enterprise in building materials and real estate industry in Vietnam and to continue to promote images and build a pretigous brand reputation in the world.

With the aim of further promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation with Asian countries, Viglacera continues to showcase its products at Japan Build Tokyo from December 12 to December 14, 2018. When it comes to Japan Build, Viglacera brings the latest products to the following standards: energy saving, environmentally friendly and state-of-the-art technology.

On 28th November 2018, Viglacera Corporation - JSC organized the groundbreaking ceremony of Vimariel Economic Zone in Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM), Cuba. This is the first economic zone that Viglacera invested overseas. This event marked the determination to implement the Viglacera's multinational business development strategy to expand the market outside the territory of Vietnam and the creation of facilities for Viglacera's investment in building materials for Cuban and the Caribbean market.

E-Commerce is growing at an unprecedented rate and has become a familiar trading method of the big trading companies all over the globe. In Vietnam, e-commerce is becoming a mainstream channel that changes the customers behavior, requiring businesses and retailers to strive to keep pace with this trend.

After thorough investigation, ActRo Vina Co., Ltd has chosen to invest in Phu Ha Industrial Park (IP), Phu Tho to meet the demand of expanding production. Besides the advantages of location, abundant labor force and competitive rent fees, this trust is also derived from the rapid growth of Korean enterprises in Phu Ha IP.

On October 23rd, 2018, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba - Antonio Carricarte Corona and Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Lianys Torres Rivera paid a working visit to the head office of Viglacera Corporation - JSC at No.1 Thang Long Avenue, Hanoi.

On October 9th, 2018, during the visit to Vietnam, the delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba led by Olga Lidia Tapia Igleisa, the Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC) Central Committee, Head of the CPC Central Committee’s Department of Science, Education, and Sports has visited and worked at Viglacera Corporation - JSC.

On August 28th 2018, during the visit to Vietnam, General Secretary of the Dominican Republic’s United Left Movement had a working visit to Viglacera Corporation JSC.

On the morning of August 2nd 2018 at Can Tho Investment Promotion Center and Exhibition Fair, Vietbuild Can Tho 2018 officially opened with the theme "Construction - Building Materials - Real Estate and Interior/ Exterior Decoration". Taking place from 2 to 6 August 2018, the exhibition attracted about 600 booths of enterprises from 9 countries in the fields of industrial construction, civil construction, building materials , interior and exterior decoration, real estate, architectural design and urban planning

On July 24th 2018, representatives of Viglacera Corporation - Vietnam and Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM) - Cuba, held the official founding of ViMariel S.A, a subsidiary of Viglacera in Cuba. ViMariel S.A became the first 100% foreign invested infrastructure company in Cuba.
