2014 : Viglacera achieved more than 13,500 billion VND of the revenue

In the morning January 14, 2015, Viglacera held the Summary Conference to assess the business performance in 2014 and implement business plan in 2015 at the Hall 15 floors, Viglacera Tower (No. 1, Thang Long Avenue, Hanoi). 2014 marked a milestone in the development of Viglacera when enterprise officially changed into joint stock company - this is the time for Viglacera confirmed the growing strength of the business, when Viglacera has successfully completed a comprehensive set of key indicators, the fields are profitable, in which the parent company fulfilled the criteria commitment to shareholders at the General Shareholders’ meeting for the first time.

The Conference

Attending the conference were Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam, president of Construction Trade Union Nguyen Van Binh, the leader of the functional departments of the Ministry of Construction, the Chairman of Viglacera Luyen Cong Minh, General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan and members of Management Board, Deputy General Directors and key leaders in the subsidiaries.

In 2014, although the building materials market and real estate developments are unusual, but under the close direction of the leadership of the Ministry of Construction on the renovation enterprise , energy investment program , the investment focus of the "green" project, social housing project, together with the stronger process of restructuring, actively grasp the situation, drastic management, flexibility and consensus solidarity of leadership, tried by the staffs, Viglacera has completed a comprehensive and exceed the targets set out plans.

Results of business activities of Viglacera in 2014: Profit rose 123% in comparison with registered plan for the Ministry of Construction, increased 86% compared with the performance t in 2013; revenue reached 13,537 billion, 8% higher than plan, over 30% compared with performance in 2013; business value increased 8% compare with the plan, 22% higher than performance in 2013. Especially when the main targets are growth, the average income of employees has increased by 11% compared to 2013, reaching 6. 13 million VND/person/month.

For the parent company in 2014, it confirmed the strong development after equitization with a healthy financial situation, balance, business efficiency, use and secure capital more effectively. End of the year, the parent company profits increased 23% compared with plan, last 6 months of year profit rose 48% compared with profit plan of General Shareholders’ meeting, 127% higher than the first 6 months of year. Revenue reached 4,700 billion VND, rose 12% compared with the year plan, implemented last 6 months reached 2,615 billion VND, increased 32% compared to the approved revenue plan at the General Shareholders’ Meeting and an increase of 32% over the first 6 months of year. Total assets of the parent company (December 31, 2014) is 9,952 billion VND, increased 48% equivalent to 3,327 billion VND compared to enterprise valuation on December 31, 2011. The return on equity was 11%, 1.56 times higher than the 2013. The development and capital preservation increase of 1.05 times compared with the time changes into join stock company.

Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam on behalf of the Ministry of Construction praised the achievements of Viglacera Corporation in 2014 and highly appreciated the financial position of the Corporation as well as the reasonableness of the activity structure: Building materials accounted for 50%, real estate accounted for 30% and other sectors accounted for 20% of the total revenue of the corporation. Deputy Minister oriented 2015, Viglacera should continue to focus on increasing labor productivity, research and technology solutions for the development of quality products to strengthen competitiveness.

With the excellent performance achieved, Viglacera set out the center task of plan 2015 is to continue growth over the previous year: Profit raises 29%, revenue increases 7%, 9% increase in business value, export increases by 25% and average income increase 11% compare to 2014.

2015, Viglacera will continue to restructure under the restructuring scheme was approved by the competent authorities; production and business operations would be stable, sustainable, with an average growth higher than the previous year minimum of 6-20% for all fields of activity; management the corporation follows the form of joint stock company through the Management Regulations under international rules, reach to the leading enterprise about production and technology; Viglacera plans to become an international enterprise in two areas of core business is to produce all kinds of advanced building materials and invest in real estate; focus on the solutions to increase labor productivity at least 10% of all the activities of the Corporation to increase the income of employees and increase competitiveness with the leading enterprises at local and abroad.

At the conference, the directors of the member units under TCT gave speeches, consensus and commitment to complete the business plan targets in 2015 which assigned by Corporation.

Recognising the contribution of the enterprise, the Prime Minister presented excellent emulation flag for Viglacera Corporation and Viglacera Infrastructure Development Investment Company in 2014; Ministry of Construction presented the excellent emulation flag for 8 members of the corporation in 2014. Besides, to commend the departments of the parent company and units are completed the duty as well as the business plan in 2014, the emulation section of Viglacera Corporation has rewarded and encouraged and encouragin g the unit continues to promote positive results in the coming year.

General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed, under the close guidance of the Ministry of Construction, Viglacera has focused on directing and initially achieved positive results. 2014, Corporation has completed a comprehensive, exceeding the main business indicators; the subsidiaries set a high determination, especially group of Tiles, Sanitary ware and some other units when completed plan soon. For programs in 2015, Viglacera has plans to deploy early from the last months of 2014 with the objectives set out above 14,000 billion VND revenue and profit growth of 15 % compared with 2014 to ensure the rights of the shareholders; while focusing on some of the works: Continue to implement the restructuring; improve labor productivity in the scientific and technological solutions; automation - mechanization and strengthen management; increase product quality, product development and synchronization schemes launched new products.

2015 will be the last year of the 5 year plan from 2011 to 2015, Viglacera will focus on promoti ng the resources for new growth phase of 5 years from 2016 to 2020, integration and internationalization, also a record the change of Corporation to become a public joint stock company, so Viglacera is determined to complete a comprehensive business plan set out to change the synchronization of quality and quantity.
