Conference to evaluate Operating results of the 3rd quarter, the first 9 months and business task implementation in the last 3 months of 2014

In the morning of 04/10/2014, Viglacera Corporation organized a conference to evaluate Operating results of the 3^rd quarter, the 1^st 9 months and business task implementation in the last 3 months of 2014 at Viglacera tower, No1 Thang Long Highway, Hanoi.

Attending and leading the conference were the Chairman Luyen Cong Minh, General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan and BOM members, Vice Presidents and key leaders of subsidiaries under Viglacera Coperation.

At the Conference, Deputy General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan presented the Corporation business report of the 3^rd quarter, the 1^st 9 months and business plan of the last 3 months of 2014. It was reported that all main operating targets have been achieved and exceeded the set ones: Profit reached 126.1 billion VND, increasing by 6% compared to the quarterly plan, the 9 month accumulated profit reached 75% of the yearly plan; Revenue increased by 3% compared to the quarterly plan, the 9 month accumulated revenue reached 74% of the yearly plan; business value rose by 8% compared to the 3^rd quarter plan, the 9 month accumulated value met 74% of the yearly plan. Viglacera has ensured stable employment for nearly 12,000 workers, with an average income increase of 9% compared to the same period in 2013.

In the 3^rd quarter of 2014, both er /d to the same period ofhetwo key areas of Viglacera that are building materials and real estate have witnessed a sustainable growth and successfully met business targets: In building material sector: profit reached 112%, revenue met 100%, business value met 110% of the planned ones; In real estate sector: profit and revenue reached 102%, business value met 101% of the planned ones.

In Glass group, the product quality always meet basic standard (the standard set by Viglacera is higher than the Vietnamese standard - TCVN), European Standard EN 572 - 2:2014, also meets quality standard of post-glass processed products such as Low - E, silvering mirrors, safety glass.

In Sanitary Ware – Shower Faucet – Commerce group, production has met ordered demand, turnover rate after firing was above the target one, product quality met the basic standard, the product set of sanitary ware - shower faucet at low price for low-price-commercial housing and social housing was available. The Corporation praised Viglacera Binh Duong Sanitary Ware Company, Viglacera Thanh Tri Sanitary Ware JSC, Viglacera Viet Tri Sanitary Ware JSC, Viglacera SANFI Company and Viglacera Trading JSC .

In tile – business group , product quality strictly follows the basic standard; the group also recorded good reservation of raw materials, labor reorganization, an increase in labor productivity of each line and a balance of order - production - consumption. The Corporation praised Viglacera Thang Long JSC, Viglacera Hanoi JSC, Viglacera Tien Son JSC and Viglacera Ceramic Tiles Trading JSC .

In Heavy clay group, the Corporation praised Viglacera Ha Long JSC for its 9 month interest of 83.2 billion VND, over 9.7% of the planned one.

General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan spoke at the Conference

To successfully implement the last 3 month business plan, ensure the 2014 business plan registered with the Ministry of Construction and approved at the 1^st General Shareholders Meeting, General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan requested the Corporation departments and subsdiaries to perform 8 key tasks:

1. Quickly issue 16 operating procedures of the Corporation as JSC model, approve operating regulations of the Corporation subsidiaries as scheduled;

2. Align with planned targets, tasks for the last 3 months committed by each member unit, each product category;

3. Develop, review and assign business – investment plan in 2015 to the Corporation subsidiaries and to representatives of the Corporation capital at joint stock companies including: cost reduction to increase staff salary, stability of sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, granite production to meet basic standard and reach top manufacturer group, position no 1 of glass products in Vietnam, heavy clay products leading the market. In 2015, the production of new products such as glass Low - e, Clinker – roofing tile products manufactured on 100% tile technology line, implementing preparation for investment in new projects of construction materials, completing procedures to start investing in an expanded Industrial Park and 3 new industrial zones are expected;

4. Assign to the "General" in each field, the representatives of capital, the Supervisory Board to complete tasked of November 2014 in a serious, thorough manner;

5. Continue reviewing and evaluating the results of implementing basic standard system and eco-technological norms, salary rates;

6. Develop training programs, training plans in 2015, concentrating resources for Vocational College under the cooperation with Proskills UK;

7. The research institute continues on research projects of building material development of the Corporation, assessment of product quality and raw material inputs of production units, the production units must also coordinate closely with the Institute;

8. Do market research including design, quality and product price that helps enhance Viglacera brand. Maintain a close coordination between the production units and trading company, with a particular focus on export activities.

Many key issues were given for discussion at the Conference and received contributive comments from Directors of member units, Vice Presidents of the Corporation about: Business activities in domestic and export markets; New product investment in the field of heavy clay technology and preparation of materials for 2015 plan; Real estate investment & trading; The issue of increasing labor productivity, salaries, social insurance and reporting information within the Corporation.

At the end of the meeting, Director General Nguyen Anh Tuan again appreciated the Corporation operating results in the 3^rd quarter, during the 1^st 9 months of 2014 and said that the Ministry of Construction has evaluated Viglacera Corporation to be one of the leading corporations of the Ministry of Construction. Thus, in order to maintain that position and successfully complete business plan of 2014, the subsidiaries should continue implementing the restructure, develop detailed plans for the last 3 months of 2014 and the year 2015 for reporting to the Corporation, coordinate closely in each product group to create an equal development among units.

The results achieved in the 3^rd quarter and 1^st 9 months of 2014 are very positive, which create an important prerequisite for the Corporation to successfully complete targets of the last 3 months of 2014, to ensure the completion of 2014 business plan registered with the Ministry of Construction and approved at the 1^st General Shareholders Meeting, accordingly to become a multinational company.
