On 6th August 2016, Ha Nam province held a conference on investment promotion chaired by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc with the participation of leaders of ministries, embassies, trade promotion organizations and more than 100 foreign enterprises. At the conference, Viglacera Corporation – JSC. was officially granted the investment certificate to develop Dong Van 4 Industrial Park – Phase I with an area of 300 hectares.

On June 28th 2016 morning, under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Construction, Newspaper of Construction together with Viglacera Corporation held a Workshop on "Research on development of energy-saving glass in Vietnam" attended by leaders of the Ministry of Construction, leaders of departments and institutes under the Ministry of Construction, architects, investors and clients interested in such new kind of material in Vietnam.

On July 6th, 2016, Viglacera Real Estate Company and Sakai Amiori Co Ltd. (Japan) jointly concluded a land leasing contract in Phu Ha Industrial Park, Phu Tho province. This is the 2nd Japanese enterprise to invest in Phu Ha Industrial Park.

Within the framework of Vietbuild HCMC Exhibition 2016, Viglacera organized a scientific workshop to introduce the new technology "Viglacera energy-saving glass" with the participation of the majority of architects, contractors, investors and interested customers.

In the morning of April 26, 2016, Viglacera Corporation - JSC held the 2016 Annual General Shareholders Meeting (GSM) at the National Convention Center in Hanoi. Business results have exceeded the targets set in Shareholders' Meeting.

Morning 01/4/2016, Viglacera Corporation - JSC held a conference on Business Performance Review of Quarter I/2016 and Business Plan for Quarter II / 2016. Profit of Q1 is 111% of targeted profit of the quarter, 1.5 times higher than the same period in 2015. Especially, all key growth indicators are higher than those in the same period last year, and basically reached targets.

Morning 29.02.2016, Viglacera Corporation - JSC held regular briefings with very positive results.

In the atmosphere of welcoming new year, celebrating 86th establishment ceremony of Vietnam Communist Party and success of the 12th National Party Congress, on 19/2/2016, Viglacera Corporation solemnly organized Groundbreaking ceremony of Tien Hai IZ – 1st phase and the inauguration of the “Expanded investment in premium Granite tiles production – 2nd phase – Viglacera Thai Binh factory” project at Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province.

In the morning of 17/02/2016, Viglacera Ha Long JSC held a tree planting ceremony; Viglacera clinker JSC started the investment in production expansion- phase II of Clinker project, and inaugurated inaugurated the 100% conversion roof-tile production project in Hoanh Bo factory - Viglacera Ha Long JSC.

To promote the beauty of traditional culture of the nation, at the same time, motivating staff in the early days of the Year of the Monkey 2016, on February 15 (Jan 8th in Lunar Calendar), the Corporation leaders visited, and welcomed New Year at its subsidiaries. This is a meaningful activity having been maintained for many years, an opportunity for leaders and staff to meet, share emotions during time at Viglacera and uplift the determination to grow Viglacera.
